At Details Interior Fashions, our upholstery partners have extensive experience working with everything from chairs and sofas to benches and cushions. When you choose Details Interior Fashions for your upholstery or reupholstery project, you’ll find a dedicated team who is passionate about bringing new life to your furniture.

We start our upholstery and reupholstery projects with an intake meeting via phone or in person, where we’ll explore:

• Your goals for the upholstering the piece;

• If there are any comfort issues, such as cushioning, spring, or foundation issues;

• Whether any structural work needs to be addressed; and

• If there any elements in the home or office that might affect the fabric’s wear (e.g., high traffic area, animals)

It would be helpful if you could provide the approximate dimensions of the piece and a few photos that you can send to us via e-mail. Once we have that information, our upholstery partners will provide an estimate for the labor, materials required, and yardage of fabric needed. Pickup and delivery are available for an additional fee.

The complexity of an upholstery or reupholstery project and the availability of materials generally determine how long it will take to complete.

We guide our clients through the fabric selection process, considering appropriate patterns for the frame, the complementary relationship to the other existing pieces within the home or office, and the durability of the fabric.
